BMW Motorrad's Model Revisions For 2022

BMW Motorrad has revealed a number of model revisions set for next year, refreshing and enhancing many of their popular motorcycles.

BMW G 310 GS.

With the new BMW G 310 GS, expect a new style ‘Triple Black in Cosmic Black Uni 2’ to be released, in addition to the ‘40 years GS’ Edition dropped.

BMW G 310 R.

With the new BMW G 310 R, expect a new style ‘Passion in Kyanite Blue Metallic’ with red rims, plus ‘Polar White’ to be dropped.

‘Cosmic Black 2’ will come with a new plaque carrier and lamp mask in black.

BMW R nineT Scrambler.

The new BMW R nineT Scrambler will have optional equipment, including off-road tyres.

BMW R nineT Urban GS.

The new BMW R nineT Urban GS will be offered in ‘Imperial Blue Metallic’, whilst the black storm metallic ‘40 years GS’ Edition is dropped.

New optional equipment will include off-road tyres.

BMW R 18 / R 18 Classic.

Expect the 20221 BMW R 18 and R 18 Classic to come with new colours: ‘Mars Red Metallic’, ‘Manhattan Metallic Matt’ and ‘Option 719 Galaxy Dust Metallic/Titanium Silver2 Metallic’.

For Option 719, Galaxy Dust Metallic/Titansilber 2 Metallic Black drive train is coupled with reverse assistance. Geometric change of lower luggage holder. No disassembly required when riding without case (R 18 Classic only).

The First Edition is to be dropped.

New Option 719 Design Package AERO includes cylinder head covers and front cover made of brushed aluminium as well as Option 719 seat and two Option 719 wheel sets AERO and ICON.

Expect a design option of chrome freely selectable for all colour variants. Lineation is freely selectable for Black Storm Metallic and Mars Red Metallic versions.

BMW R 1250 GS.

New optional equipment, including a case holder for aluminium cases, will be available with the new BMW R 1250 GS.

BMW R 1250 RT.

Expect new styles of ‘Triple Black’ and ‘Black Storm Metallic 2’. The style ‘Elegance with Manhattan Metallic’ is to be dropped.

There’s also a software update with new functions for this model: Favourite button will be freely assignable, as well as improvement of operating/display comfort A-Kombi (available from October 1st 2021).

BMW R 1250 RS.

Expect a new style: ‘Sport with Light White’ includes a red frame. ‘Austin Yellow Metallic’ is to be dropped for 2022.

BMW S 1000 RR.

With the 2022 BMW S 1000 RR, we’ll see a new style: ‘Passion with Mineral Grey Metallic’.

New M Chassis kit will be as standard, including swinging pivot point and rear lift.

There will also be new optional equipment, such as a Dynamic package with new content: Riding Modes Pro, DDC, cruise control, heated grips.

The Race package will include M Endurance chain and a sports silencer, or an M Titanium exhaust system.

With the M package, expect M Sports seat, M Light weight battery, M GPS lap trigger, M Carbon wheels or M Forged wheels, plus a new tank lid in black.

The Billet pack will also offer new content: M Brake lever/M clutch lever foldable, M Footrest system and M Brake lever guard. The current engine protector and clutch lever guard are to be dropped.

Additionally, the current Sports package is to be dropped. All packages are combinable however, and the two M wheel variants can be ordered as a single option for each colour.

BMW S 1000 XR.

With the new BMW S 1000 XR, expect the new style ‘Triple Black with Black Storm Metallic 2’, plus  new colours ‘Racing Red 2’ and ‘Light White/M Motorsport’.

‘Ice Grey’, ‘Racing Red / White Aluminium Metallic Matt’ and ‘Light White / Racing Black’ are to be dropped.

A new M Package will be available - only in combination with ‘Light White / M Motorsport’ (first time M colours for the XR).

The Billet pack with elimination of left engine protector is also on offer.

BMW F 750 GS.

With the new BMW F 750 GS expect the new style: ‘Triple Black with Black Storm Metallic’. 2 includes hand protectors.

The ‘40 years GS’ Edition ‘Black Storm Metallic’ is to be dropped.

BMW F 850 GS.

With the new BMW F 850 GS, we’ll see a new style: ‘Triple Black with Black Storm Metallic’. 2 includes hand protectors.

The ‘40 years GS’ Edition ‘Black Storm Metallic’ is dropped.

BMW F 850 GS Adventure.

With the new BMW F 850 GS Adventure, expect the new style ‘Triple Black with Black Storm Metallic’. 2 includes double seat.

New colour Light white uni, Edition ‘40 years GS’ Black storm metallic and Ice grey uni is dropped.

BMW F 900 R.

With the new BMW F 900 R there’s to be a new style available: ‘Exclusive with Blue Stone Metallic’.

Additionally, there will be styles ‘Sport with Light White’, ‘Racing Blue Metallic’ and ‘Racing Red’ (which includes engine spoiler), whilst the pillion seat cover is to be discontinued.

‘San Marino Blue Metallic’ and style ‘Sport Hockenheim with Silver Metallic’ and ‘Racing Red’ are dropped.

BMW F 900 XR.

With the new BMW F 900 XR, expect a new ‘Triple Black with Black Storm Metallic’ style, which includes hand protectors.

The style ‘Exclusive with Galvanic Gold Metallic’ is to be dropped.

All models will be able to order with these new configurations from August 2021.
