At 18% lighter than some of its competitors, the XL750 Transalp has a wet weight of just 208kg. Although light, as the name suggests, the 18.3kg tubular steel diamond frame presents a nimble and strong road presence.

The ergonomically designed padded seat offers plenty of room for both rider and a passenger. The Showa suspension system takes the terrain in its stride, allowing you to simply enjoy the ride.
Improved engine performance
The 750cc Honda engine offers a capable 90bhp and 55lb-ft of torque. Now with a slightly tweaked ride-by-wire throttle to improve the throttle control even further. This makes for a great balance of low-down pull and high-end fun.

The Honda XL750 Transalp is always in control, with its light steering, strong brakes and impressive handling. The bike offers four riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and Gravel. Also, User allows you to toggle the assistance features on and off. Features such as Traction Control and Anti-lock Braking System personalise your ride.
Reliable build
Bringing forth Honda's expertise in crafting SOCH singles, the DAX125 is a sure thing when it comes to reliability. The stomp transmission has been refined over the decades to ensure higher quality, while the paint finish on the bodywork is sure to please. It's also lightweight and easy to ride.
Specification and equipment
A fairly simple scooter, the Honda ST125 DAX shows less is more in the kit area. Features include a neat digital speedometer and fuel gauge, LED lights, and cast aluminium wheels. The front disc brake also features ABS for improved safety. Luggage racks and other accessories are available as an option.
Riding and owning
With OTR prices starting from £3,800 the ST125 DAX is reasonably affordable. The modest-sounding 125cc engine is efficient, with up to 90mpg allowing you to economise with every ride. While a 3.8-litre tank may be small, you'll still be able to cover plenty of ground with up to 150 miles max in between stops.
