Off-road performance
The improved chassis is 4kg lighter than the previous CRF300L. Power is also improved thanks to the 4V DOHC single-cylinder engine which has an assist/slipper clutch for better torque.
Ride in comfort
Longer rides require maximum comfort and the CRF300L prioritises exactly that. The seat height has gained 5mm for improved natural control and a narrower fuel tank gives you more freedom.
Racing inspired
The new CRF300L takes inspiration from the CRF450R and CRF450RX, which are both renowned competition bikes.
Optimal braking
Get extra braking confidence, no matter the surface you are riding on with the floating front disc with ABS. The two-piston front caliper used a floating 256mm wavy disc. The ABS can also be switched off on the rear caliper if you prefer.

Flexible suspension
On and off-road riding is improved thanks to 43mm Showa damping calibrated USD forks with spring rate. While the rear single-tube Showa monoshock with 40mm diameter cylinder uses Pro-Link suspension.

Specs and equipment
Standard specs on the CRF300L include a liquid-cooled DOHC 4V single-cylinder engine. As well as an LCD instrument display. There's also an LCD instrument display, Showa 43mm USD forks and rear monoshock, and tapered aluminum swingarm.
Impressive range
The Honda CRF300L's 7.8 litre fuel tank delivers an estimated 68mpg which should give you a decent range of around 140 miles. With the 140-mile range, you should be well equipped for a day on the trail or a few days of commuting before needing to fuel up again.
